Review on ๐Ÿ’“ Beurer PM25 Heart Rate Monitor: Real-time Monitoring in Silver/Black by Dagmara Gob แ Œ

The product does not match the description, poor quality.

Apparently, the person who designed the display did not know what this device was intended for and designed, first of all, a watch, and not a sports heart rate monitor. So, for example, it is not clear why, when measuring training time, a figure of tens of hours is needed. I doubt anyone trains continuously for that long. In this regard, probably, both small numbers of seconds and the absence of fractions of seconds are not needed for ordinary watches. This also applies to the permanent display of the date and day of the week. All other shortcomings make it less functional compared to other heart rate monitors on the market. The complete set with a sensor, which is used on all Chinese heart rate monitors, speaks of its origin. There is no smell of Germany here.

Pros
  • Looks solid, like a sports gadget. The chest strap is compatible with other similar heart rate monitors.
Cons
  • Display Disadvantages: - The display is not contrasting compared to other heart rate monitors. - The numbers showing the pulse are small and pushed to the top of the screen. - The numbers of seconds are very small and there are no fractions of a second. - The letters and numbers of the date and day of the week are very pale and occupy a significant part of the screen. Control Disadvantages: -The buttons are tight and fuzzy, they work the third time. -The inscriptions of the control buttons are very small, they still need to be found. -Settings system is quite complex with three control buttons. Disadvantages of the pulse counter: -It takes a very long time to connect to the sensor. - The result of the number of pulses intermittently freezes and does not respond to a clear change in the pulse. - The pulse indicator in the form of a "heart" signals only the presence of a connection with the sensor, and not the actual pulses.
