I bought these goggles so I wouldn't lose my goggles or my friend's goggles in the lake while kayaking. However, we have found that the straps help keep the goggles on your face in the summer heat and in casual wear. We both have problems with glasses slipping off our noses and these straps help solve that problem! The straps match our glasses and sunglasses!
