Review on LEUCHTTURM1917 - Pocket A6 Dotted Softcover Notebook (Army) - 123 Numbered Pages by Morgan Gilmore

Revainrating 5 out of 5

This book did a good job with my rough handling and the extra features made it well organized.

I am an avid journalist, I carry my journals in my bag and take them with me wherever I go, so I seriously check my notebooks. This book did a good job with my rough handling and the extra features made it well organized. Though I'm a mole skin at heart. I contacted Leuchtturm when I discovered that Moleskine uses PVC (a toxic plastic carcinogen) in its cases, and I was looking for something similar that does NOT use PVC. I'm a little confused by the extra length and ink-resistant pages, but that's entirely my personal taste, because for many people who use liquid or gel pens, ink-resistant pages are a godsend. So if you're looking for a durable and well-organized notepad, and aren't a regular lousy pen user like me, then I recommend the Leuchtturm1917.

Pros
  • 80 g/m² acid-free paper with high ink compatibility to prevent bleeding, expandable back cover gusset, 2 ribbon markers and elastic closure
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.
