As stated in other reviews, the manual has very minimal directions on how to use the various functions. The slow cooker method does not work. It gets too hot, boils and there is a lot of steam. The pressure cooker option does not work because of timing issues. Everything I have cooked from beans, meat, stew gets too mushy. I contacted customer service to see if there were some tips on how to use the product successfully. They first wanted the invoice number, when I replied it was a gift, they replied that they were out of the office for 5 days. I got an email requesting the model number which I provided and have not heard from them again. If anyone has methods that have worked for them, I would appreciate hearing about them. Otherwise I would never recommend this multi-use cooker. Seems like a good idea, but the company is not successful in producing either a good product or good service.
