The cover seems to resist water well but I wouldn't rely solely on it at the track as you can see we added a couple of p's to secure it. Other reviewers note its big nose, and I agree with our f the shape of the boat, but it wasn't hard to scale it down a bit. I can't comment on the durability, but I wanted to report that it held up. to the highway. I've read other reviews that said the colors are fading so I expect that but they will be updated over time.
