Review on 🧳 Rover Trunk by Seward by Terry Herrera

Heavy Duty Traditional Style Suitcase Lock

I bought one of these 30 inch Seward cases during Prime Day for my daughter to take to college for both secure storage and an occasional table in her room to use. The suitcase arrived, it was well packaged (wheels protected) in a sturdy cardboard box. I was a little concerned that without another layer of protection (the Revain box) it would have been damaged in transit but thankfully not. as shown in the picture. I bought the blue for about fifty dollars and had pretty low expectations after reviewing others in the same size. I was surprised by the build quality of this medium to heavy duty carrier. It's not the triple price equivalent, but if you want that kind of nice, durable, lockable storage, it's worth it. WHAT I LOVE ABOUT THIS PRODUCT: β˜† Attractive, traditional design. β˜† Handles on top and on one side ensure maneuverability. It's much easier than others without handles. β˜† It has two wheels to transport the trunk. β˜† Two keys are included with the trunk for locking and unlocking. β˜† Accessories on the trunk are not flimsy. β˜† The trunk is the "right size" to fill and still be moved by one person. β˜† The outer matte surface does not seem to be easily scratched. β˜† It's quite heavy (about 20-25 pounds). if empty) - what could be good or bad I think? β˜† The price is right! WHAT COULD BE BETTER: ➀ Two wheels are small, fixed, small and non-swivelling. They take up very little space in the trunk. While this design looks neat, on some surfaces it looks like the trunk has no wheels at all.➀ The one layer of fiberboard used to make the sides of this trunk looks solid but where the screws are used there are bumps inside the trunk that rubbing can expose these screws. CONCLUSION: I like this product very much and I think if you're not looking for a rhino skin trunk, you'll be happy too. This is not an item that can be used continuously for 20 years, but with care it can last for several years in summer camp or college life. I think it works best in low humidity climates as the fiberboard it's made of can be prone to warping. For the price paid I am satisfied and would recommend it. ---------- ----------------11.03.17: I bought a second one for thirty delivered. Slight scratch on the top on arrival but the rest was as expected. ---------------------------------
