Review on Ergodyne ProFlex 1051 Medium Support Brace by Ian Bates

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Much tighter than previous back straps

I bought one for my wife and she loves how much tighter it is. So I bought one. It's cooler and the back pad feels more assertive than traditional compression straps. I have back pain from an injury I sustained in my 20's and sometimes I have to wear a belt all day. Much better and healthier and cooler on hot days. Several people ask about the size of what fits, so I'll answer that question. I wear a large, I have a 36" waist and the large belt should fit a 30-40 comfortably I would estimate. My wife wears a medium and although the medium will fit me, it is tight when the adjustment straps are adjusted. Medium fits waist sizes from 26 to 34 inches. Adjustable straps allow you to vary comfort and waist size. Dual compression straps provide a snug or loose fit depending on need and comfort for heavy work or little back support. The back cushion conforms to my back much better than the compression straps alone. The back pad seems to provide support exactly where it is needed. At least for me it's better than other belts I've used in the past. Maybe there's a better one, and I probably just haven't found it yet. Until then I will use this one.
