
They do not offer 100% protection so if you are working with hazardous materials I would prefer to use standard scientific grade goggles. However, I love them because they sit well on my glasses and protect me during light grinding or cutting. The sawdust can still get into the frames, but it's better than wearing nothing over my glasses. I would even say that they are a good sunscreen for those who don't wear glasses.
