👓 3114 Crossfire Safety Glasses Review

They do not offer 100% protection so if you are working with hazardous materials I would prefer to use standard scientific grade goggles. However, I love them because they sit well on my glasses and protect me during light grinding or cutting. The sawdust can still get into the frames, but it's better than wearing nothing over my glasses. I would even say that they are a good sunscreen for those who don't wear glasses.

The sunglasses were quite dark which I wanted but they were advertised as regular glasses and at least in my case they didn't fit. Admittedly, my lenses are quite large, but that's why I ordered these special glasses to wear over them if necessary. I have them in my desk drawer at home, but I don't think I'll be using them anytime soon. They would probably be great for those with smaller regular glasses than me.

I came across these goggles on a recent site visit. I used to use the typical UVEX goggles that my employer offered free of charge but they never sat squarely on my nose and kept slipping off and the top of the frame always blocked my vision. I tried a pair of Crossfire goggles on site and they fit my prescription glasses perfectly as well as my nose. They don't slip and don't get in the way. As soon as I had the opportunity, I went online and bought a pair. I will continue to use them for both
