Mosquitoes have gotten a lot worse where I live in recent years. So much so that we almost never go outside at dusk or later simply because we are attacked by mosquitoes. We live in a really rural area surrounded by forest on three sides so we've always had mosquitoes but lately it's gotten a lot worse. In the middle of that summer I decided to do something about it. I went and bought some traps that use CO2 and also claim to kill mosquitoes instead of just solving the problem. It seems to have helped a little, but still not perfect. So when I came across a couple of these Dynatraps traps I was hoping the combo would be worth it. And so far so good! Dynatraps do their job, although they seem to get more June bugs than mosquitoes. But it still helps with mosquitoes that get past the other defenses we have. The beat is amazing, even if you know it's coming and what the sound is, I still fall like my heart skips a beat every time I hear it! But hey, that just means it works! I wish the cable was longer. In general, you won't go anywhere without an extension cord. Even if you plan on handing it directly over the outlet, it's still not enough. I'd also like to have that daylight auto shut off, or at least some way to turn it on and off, aside from being unplugged. I ended up plugging it into a smart socket and being able to set the time to turn on and off. And the price is not bad for what you get. In general very satisfied!
