We just renovated our kitchen (completely gutted and rebuilt really) and our walnut island (3ft x 7ft) needed corner protection due to heavy traffic. We covered the edges with it and it provides a clear layer of protection that works great and you won't notice unless you're around. Still holding up great after a week.
