I chose these when I was looking for a weatherproof inlet for my solar system. I'm running two 100w Renogy panels in parallel so each draws, give or take, about 7 amps. Good for 20A plug expression. This connector type is the same that Furion uses for its 10 amp inputs, which the manufacturer uses and then derates to 7.5 amps. I drilled a 7/8" hole in the front cross member. At first I lost the screws and used others. However, this doesn't work. You need the included (or other) pan head machine screw or the pin connector won't snap. Cups and solder the wire you are using into them rather tin first then make cups then insert the wires into the solder cups.
