Review on Men'S Connor Waterproof Toggle Down Parka Coat Hooded Jacket (Regular & Big And Tall Sizes) by Jeff Shapiro

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Satisfied so far. on my review.

Well let me begin with I am 5ft 11in, 190lbs, slim and muscular in a large fits well with room for additional layers. If you're looking for a snug fit I would suggest a medium. With that said let's move on to pockets there are seven in total. 2 button up pockets in the front deep enough to hold a 10 inch Samsung Galaxy Tab A, with pockets for your hands behind them. There's also a zipper pocket by the left chest which is deep enough to hold a cell phone, checkbook or a small revolver LOL. Are two inside pockets, a small button pocket to the right which can hold change, credit cards or headphones and a larger zipper pocket to the left a cell phone or checkbook. Now on to the weight the coat is slightly hefty but not heavy it's enough to keep you warm without being too bulky and cumbersome. The coat covers the entire torso from the chin to the ballsack (forgive my language). The coat is water resistant but not waterproof it can shrug off a light shower but not a heavy downpour. The zippers are sturdy, it's machine-washable and dryer safe if you put it on gentle. The hoodie is adjustable and removable, the collar buttons up and the Sabertooth buttons (or whatever they're called) lets you fasten the coat without zipping it up.The style is great you can wear it with jeans, slacks or even sweatpants. Unfortunately we're having a mild winter, so I haven't been able to test it against frigid temperatures yet. Overall I'm pretty satisfied, the quality is great for the price point. Now if you're looking for a coat for hardcore weather conditions you're better off looking at a hearty brand like the North Face or cortex but if you need a coat for commuting, hiking, walking the dog, snowball fights, urban travels and things of that nature this is perfect for you. I give it a 9.5 out of 10. My only gripe it was pretty wrinkled when I first got it but that's about it.

Pros
  • We liked it, just what I expected
Cons
  • It is not very stylish and is more functional than fashionable
