Review on πŸŽ’ MAXTOP Fanny Pack - Stylish Waist Pack Bag with Headphone Jack and 3-Zipper Pockets for Men and Women - Adjustable Straps Included by Anthony Gupta

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Excellent, minimalist, very well built

I bought this with 2 other packs, I kept this and the largest of the 3 - Jansport. I mention the Jansport because it seems to be better in terms of material, strength and construction. but much less and many people know Jansport in comparison. I read other reviews about the size, it's really big enough for a phone and wallet (slim). My current phone is a Galaxy 10e, my old S8+ was very tight in this fanny pack. I didn't feel safe getting it out when pedaling my bike in a group, I had to stop and check it out, which made me prefer the Jansport for the first few months. The clip and straps are strong and durable. The design is very form fitting, ideal for working with just the phone and keys. The clip is very secure, I bent the wire so the end attaches to the belt. The reflective tape isn't very effective, after bending the wire to attach it to my belt I started using it a lot more often. But Jansport is also needed - maybe it's just me and my madness. I've never used a headphone jack - I use bluetooth headphones, thought about keeping the one that was returned and sending it back for exactly that reason - didn't want the waterhole going in when it wasn't necessary. But the other had a daylight orange t-shirt that you could see from space and it seemed softer. I kept the MaxTop because I thought it would soften over time and get even better shape over time, just like all my other Cordura products. I bought it for cycling hoping there would be enough space for tire repairs and a phone. My set of tires is very minimal - 1 CO2, tube, lever, speed patches. And this pack is too small for such and such a phone. But the Jansport is way too big and feels like a duffel bag around my waist. This is a good backpack, I've stretched and tugged at the seams and stitches, it's built very well. When I tie it above my hips it lays flat under my shirt and doesn't bother my phone - basically I can forget about it and just walk away.
