I recently purchased a Logitech 915 TKL Tactile Switch Keyboard, which was my first exposure to mechanical keyboards, and ten keyless keyboards. I frequently type ten keys at work and currently work from home so I still need a numeric keypad for quick data entry. I originally bought a wireless mechanical number pad with blue keys. While this worked, it had a few downsides: * Blue clicking switches that were noisy, especially compared to my tactile keyboard. *Full height and no stand which made it cumbersome and awkward to use. * Chunky - rather large casing for a number pad * The normal "+" key has been halved and replaced with a "-" key at the top and a backspace key where the normal "-" is, which is very annoying was I kept deleting things. This seems common with standalone number keys, but doesn't match a regular keyboard. So I looked for a Kailh Brown Switch Low Profile number pad, if it existed, and found this one. I received it yesterday and it fits my keyboard really well. I'm happy with my purchase, but if they ever release a device with the following specs, I'll probably buy one too: * Slightly longer (more depth) to fit my keyboard. * Wireless connection * Ability to turn off the LEDs. * Slightly larger to fit my keyboard height. Overall, it's very quiet and comfortable to use. It's quieter than the membrane keyboard I had before.
