This is a really beautiful ring. Since I have an engagement ring I wanted to make it thinner. This is the perfect companion to my solitaire game. We originally planned to buy platinum rings for me and my husband but I really wanted the nicest engagement ring we could afford so I knew we had to save money on my ring. Sitting next to my husband's platinum ring you really won't notice much of a difference. The difference is that his ring is noticeably slightly darker. It's also a comfortable strap that doesn't scratch. Definitely pretty enough to be a ring in its own right for ladies who don't like or want solitaire and would definitely work with gloves on. All in all a win-win situation.
