I needed a change from ball caps, cadet caps. I went with the "Newsboy" style cap, thinking it would serve well as a shooting cap, and be more comfortable using heavy hearing protection. I was right, and there's enough brim, to block sun, as well as most ball caps. The soft contact areas make the caps more comfortable, with sufficient fabric weight to keep my head warm on frosty days. They're a bit too heavy, for very hot temperatures, but very comfortable for temps below 80 F. These are sharp looking caps, and I've gotten a number of compliments about their appearance. On a better looking man, they'd be fabulous.
