Doubtful: Scrubs

I mean, I have mixed feelings about applying this product to my face, but that would be a complete understatement. To give you a little idea, I've been using the Kylie Skin Nut Facial Scrub since May of last year. I've used the nut facial scrub once a day, 3-4 times a week and I still love it. However, I was looking for a cheaper option and tried this one. What I love is that it does everything my other walnut facial scrub does, yet my skin doesn't feel stripped or dry (Kylie's skin did a little). It ticked all of my boxes as to why I bought the product! HOWEVER - the first time I used it I squeezed some of the scrub onto my hand and I was struck by this overwhelming smell of clean vomit. I couldn't even believe it, I literally had to keep sniffing it and it definitely smelled like something I had vomited before. I was really considering putting it on my face at all, but for some reason I was optimistic and washed it into my pores and LOVED it. It does NOT leave that smell on my face. To me that would be a clear breach of contract. But if you rub it in, the smell goes away. I also use a variety of other products afterwards to wipe off excess product. I tell myself that natural products are usually fragrance-free because these fragrances are often artificially created using harsh chemicals that can be harmful to your body. Leather. So maybe the reason for the smell is the use of earthier, organic ingredients? maybe it's just me Maybe I should stop using it? I don't know anyone, my skin feels great, the scrub works great and smells like vomit. Do what you want with it. Rschunimagu
