I don't mean that like the popular word crispy/muesli, I mean it literally. It's made of semi-flexible plastic and the elastic is stiff enough that it doesn't gather around my ears, causing my hair to get wet at the hairline. I have a feeling they are factory seconds or fake, not at all like many other Goody shower caps I've bought over the years. Despite the brand awareness, I will not buy it online again. I'll go to a regular store where I can better understand what I'm getting for my money. On the plus side, it's waterproof.
