TLDR: didn't work for me. Maybe this will work for you.

I was so optimistic that I really wanted to try this product. I have read so many amazing things about this mineral. And I found it particularly interesting that people in Japan have been using a product with the same mineral and amazing benefits for years. I ordered this particular product but it never arrived. (I got my money back and I appreciate it.) I decided to try this brand as it claimed to contain this particular mineral. Absolute disappointment! And I'll be specific. First of all positives: I really liked that it left a minty sensation in the mouth, but not overwhelming. This is a plus. And there was no medicinal stinging that occurs when brushing with ordinary toothpaste. Another plus. The packaging was fine - the hose has not leaked and has not worn out. But those are all pluses. Now the important things are in the opposite category. My teeth became more sensitive every time I used the product. I had a lot more tartar or plaque (I don't know the difference between the two) along my gum line. I didn't notice any whitening of the teeth, but I did notice that they looked quite dull and not as white as they used to be. (Usually my teeth are shiny and almost white—not bright white, but definitely not yellowish.) For a couple of weeks I tried to balance brushing with this and brushing with regular toothpaste (this is for the morning routine and regular toothpaste for the night routine). ). My teeth were still sensitive. When I stopped using this product altogether, my teeth were no longer sensitive after a few days. I'm sure everyone reacts differently to this product as we all have different microbial domes in our mouths (for lack of a better description). A few people here have praised the many benefits they have received from the product. So this means that each person is just taking risks and trying to see if it works for them. The sad part is the price you pay just to try. Maybe someone can sell the sample size. If it works, cheers! You won't regret spending the money on the full size. If it doesn't then you won't be stuck like me with a full size 3/4 product that you don't want to throw away because it seems wasteful but what else are you going to do with it. I really hate being wasteful.

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging
