This small heater packs a lot of heat. I have another 1500w ceramic heater and its outlet temperature is lower than this one. As mentioned, there are 2 heating modes: High (1500W) and Low (750W) and also the fan speed changes accordingly: high heat/high fan speed and low heat/low fan speed. By default the timer is set to turn off after 6 hours, which can be changed using the timer button (from 1 hour to 12 hours) but cannot be set to always on. So if you want a heater that stays on until you turn it off, then this heater isn't for you. If you only need a fan, there is a fan button that just blows air with no heat. There are 4 rubber pads on the bottom of the device to prevent the device from moving/scratching on the surface. One feature that I really like and that my other heater doesn't have is that when the unit is turned off the fan will continue to blow until the heating element cools down. With my other heater I had to do it manually. This is a good little heater.
