They do the job and are strong enough to hold a large marshmallow on each side, maybe 2. These aren't those giant marshmallows or marshmallows in pillows, though. They are too tight/heavy although I haven't tried stretching them less than fully which I feel provides less support than usual. Good for making a little hot dog on each side while putting the whole dog on the skewer. Great idea, cheap material. Can be upgraded but mostly works for what they were bought for.
