My phone case is a bit thick so the magnetic clasps make it difficult to keep it in place. One bump or sharp corner and the phone flies away. The Vanva mount works because it grips the phone and holds it in place. Installs in less than a minute and is completely secure. I have used many car mounts over the years and this is by far the best. (I gave 5 stars for suction power because there was no category for gripping power)
