I bought two of these fridges because this particular model was larger than others I've found. I always keep them in the fridge. They keep a bottle of wine chilled for about an hour and there is a non-slip/scratch-resistant pad on the base. Unfortunately, there is a large gap between the bottle and the walls of the cooler, which means that the marble, and therefore the wine, heats up more quickly, especially when dealing with a typically narrower Riesling bottle. If you have a bottle with a wider base, such as B. Chardonnay or Prosecco, it works better. *Important* This is not a product designed to cool a warm bottle of wine. It simply keeps the already chilled bottle at a good drinking temperature. It's attractive though, and for the price it's good value. Mine arrived in good condition from the seller and in just a few days.
