I took several pairs of these gloves, they are very thick and very comfortable inside. The biggest downside is the inside palm and fingers. The material can be easily torn depending on what you're doing. I am a truck driver. Sometimes I use them on a trailer when I turn the knob it can be rusty and has jagged edges and it tears the material but they are quite waterproof and keep my hands warm for about 10 minutes in the winter, I only use them briefly For the time being I wouldn't recommend them for all day use in the cold and rain, I don't think they will last long or the durable material inside is too weak so this time I have an extended warranty on them if you need it over time they will tear
