Pair Size Mismatch - Quality

I was a bit hesitant to take them because of the negative reviews about the quality, but there were those who received good pairs. I was hoping as I was in dire need of good work gloves due to the sub-zero temperatures we're having in Wisconsin this week (-22°F). I just received the gloves a few minutes ago. I have worn gloves from different manufacturers from M to L. Based on the size chart on the Revain website I was on the higher M side so I ordered the large. The left glove was generally…

Pros
  • Complete Set
Cons
  • Empty

I took several pairs of these gloves, they are very thick and very comfortable inside. The biggest downside is the inside palm and fingers. The material can be easily torn depending on what you're doing. I am a truck driver. Sometimes I use them on a trailer when I turn the knob it can be rusty and has jagged edges and it tears the material but they are quite waterproof and keep my hands warm for about 10 minutes in the winter, I only use them briefly For the time being I wouldn't recommend…

QUALITY Clothing, Shoes & Jewelry

As advertised, soft quality leather, stitching and feel plus 1/2 broken from the packaging at a great price. Order the next size up based on the arm width/volume size chart. I have long fingers and the gloves fit well in the straps (not sure if this is a size L to XL or fits all). Let's see how they fare in winter weather in Cleveland, Ohio from mid-January to mid-February. I will use them for clearing snow from cars parked outside and while driving, as well as clearing snow from driveways and…

Comfortable and warm in the most adverse conditions!

I bought these gloves last year. I bought them for calving time. At first glance you wouldn't think they would last a year. We had a very severe winter. Calve in a blizzard, then in a flood. These gloves keep hands warm and have no tears. They probably won't last forever. So I'm ordering another pair this fall for next calving season. I would like to see cowhide leather in gloves of the same quality. But I'm afraid the comfort will not be the same! If anyone knows of a more comfortable work…

Exceptional Glove and Mitten

This is the second pair of these gloves that I have owned. The first ones were given to me as a rogue, and I used them right away. Gloves have always been a problem as my hands are unusually large and prone to arthritis and these gloves fit comfortably and offer great grip. The extra warmth they offered was appreciated and the lining stayed in place when I had to take them off. I made snowmen out of it with my grandchildren, soaked them thoroughly, and they dried quickly and remained elastic. I

Great gloves for winter snow removal

My husband nearly got frostbite on his hands while moving snow from our 1000 ft drive with his tractor and front loader during the last polar vortex and he asked me to get him something warmer to get waterproof gloves next time (which may be next week). He has a larger hand and loves the Wells Lamont brand, so I took a chance and ordered these XX-Large gloves. They fit perfectly and were warm, yet flexible enough to steer the tractor effortlessly. Although there was no polar vortex, he tested…

They fit and I don't see any flaws in them yet

Just received them so can't comment on warmth yet but insulation is thick. They really felt very warm in the house. Putting it on the first time was a bit tedious because the insulation had not yet been distributed with fingers and hands. After putting them on, I ran my fingers through the ends, massaging my hands to adjust the insulation. The gloves are now ok and are the perfect size for me. I usually wear a size plus and these were ordered that size. I'll check in the cold tomorrow. If you…

Well made and durable

Only one thing I don't quite appreciate about these gloves is that they don't insulate as well as I was hoping when I bought them. In moderately cold weather (e.g. mid-20s F) with little or no additional wind chill, it takes about 30 minutes for my hands to start feeling cold for the first time. I haven't used them in the snow yet, but when the snow and ice draw more warmth from the gloves, I expect the first chills to come sooner. Otherwise, they do well and are useful in a variety of…
