We bought this tape to keep our kids from slipping near the stairs. Within a week the tape had become a dirt trap. We tried removing the tape as the product description said it was possible but it wasn't possible. I give the product two stars because the strap was very grippy and didn't slip. But it was tantamount to sticking on double-sided tape. If you wear socks, you get stuck in them. The only thing stopping it was dirt filling it. We gave up and started pulling the tape but it left so much residue that we still couldn't get up. We've tried various scrubs and lots of Goo-Gone, but as you can see on the top tier, the residue is very permanent and won't come off. Therefore this purchase was a waste for us and I do not recommend it for private use.
