Review on πŸ”Š ALLICAVER Wall Mount Stand Holder for Apple HomePod - Sturdy Metal Construction (White) by Rance Riley

Revainrating 4 out of 5

It does its job - designing Meiocere - installation is a real pain.

What I like: The Homepod is mounted on the wall as shown in the pictures. Sounds good, there is no noticeable deterioration of the base. My use: a stereo pair mounted on either side of my TV. Source iOS devices including Apple TV 4K. The sound is much better than on a cabinet under the TV. What I don't like: There are a number of issues to note: First: 3 tiny screws and anchors are supplied, totally unsuitable for drywall or even a solid wall. You must find your own mounting material. Secondly, the screw holes are exactly like that and not grid-shaped, making final adjustment impossible. Make the holes 100% right the first time, otherwise! Third, the technique is mediocre with some variability in the angles and inclinations of both the base and the ring. As such, things always look a little lopsided, which is not good for people with OCD. Whether you live with it or send it back, it's never perfect. Conclusion: they do what I wanted and the final sound quality is good, but you must be quite competent. I would buy an EXIMUS speaker wall mount but it is no longer available.
