I ordered this genuine GM part k disappointment

I thought ordering a genuine GM part would make it in the US or even MEXICO. Or Canada, no it's made in China, I could buy this part knowing it's made in China and save about $15. AND AFTER I installed it, it really worked, it was a very good copy, I hope it will give me 21 years of trouble-free use. I'm still disappointed... it makes you think that if you buy a genuine part and sometimes pay twice as much, you can just buy Chinese fakes.
