Review on πŸ’ˆ Parker SRW Straight Edge Barber Razor: Ultimate Razor Set for Professional Barber Shop Shave by Cindy Carlin

Revainrating 5 out of 5

A very good choice for razor novices.

I bought this razor because I've had trouble getting a decent shave for a long time and because of the irritation from the razor I wasn't able to shave as often as needed to avoid a sloppy look. I decided to venture into the world of shaving with a straight razor on recommendation and this straight razor was perfect for my needs. Let's face it, straight razors are bloody expensive. If you have experience shaving with a straight razor and are looking for a quality straight razor, this probably isn't the right razor for you. But to learn the art of shaving with a straight razor, this is quite a good option. Who wants to spend over $100 on a straight razor (let alone a whetstone and straightening belt) when you're unsure if the entire process is right for you? At least you can experiment with such an item without spending a fortune. They still shave way better than any safety razor and now that I've got the hang of it I've actually seen an improvement in my razor burn and ingrown hair problem. Shark blades are good enough. I usually change the blades after every shave because they're cheap enough to replace. While I've seen many blades say there are better blades depending on your specific needs (some are more aggressive than others), so I'll experiment. I personally love the fact that I can use this razor with a variety of blades to see which ones work best for me. While I never downgrade to a higher quality straight razor, replacement blades for this thing are a lot cheaper than your regular Mach 3 or even lower end disposables. I ordered a pack of 100 for $5 a few days ago. What other alternatives do you have to get 3-6 month razors for only $5? I can't give this 5 stars as there are definitely way better options than straight razors out there. But for its purposes as a cheap entry-level straight razor, this item is very good overall.

  • STAINLESS STEEL BLADE HOLDER: The Parker SRW straight blade disposable razor comes with a durable stainless steel stand that provides excellent balance for a close and comfortable shave. This razor is similar to a traditional straight edge razor but without the hassle of straightening, sharpening and sharpening the blade. It is the choice of professional hairdressers all over the world.
