I've read reviews that the pen is too short to use it's full potential. Then I read some more reviews that said it uses a threaded public hole to hold the short handle in place and figured this was for me. I took two packs of scrapers and attached one to an old metal broom handle. It fits just fine! Then I went outside to test my new window cleaning tool. I was able to easily clean our windows without using a ladder or ladder. A squeegee, along with some soapy water in a bucket and a garden hose, could do a good job cleaning the windows in our one story house. I just put a four foot pole on top and got to work. The cleaning sponge worked great and the nylon coating didn't crack or get stuck. The wiper blade was very good at removing dishwater and window drips. Not as good as a high quality silicone wiper but definitely good enough for me. All in all it's a decent product that can be great if you want to make some mods.
