As far as affordable easy to carry sockets go this one seems pretty good. Especially when compared to cheap metric/standard combination (SAE) wrenches available at local stores for about the same price. have normal flat sides. Instead they are round and the key only goes in the grooves. What happens with a typical combination wrench is that it just slides around the nut. However, if you put a specific head on 17mm, it's fine. In fact, this wrench fits the collet nut very tightly. Better than even my punch head. Be sure to practice fitting before attempting to change a tire on the side of the road in the rain at night so you feel comfortable and confident. I just checked the landing and worked out the operation. Keys before I put it in the trunk of my jeep so can't speak to durability.
