Let's talk about SIZE first as that is definitely an issue with this robe. Here is the size chart they give: AND DON'T BELIEVE THAT WORD! * Small/Medium: Suitable for 32-38" chest, robe length 46" * Large/XL: Suitable for 40-44" chest, robe length 48" * 1X/2X: Suitable for 46-50" chest, Robe Length 50*3X-4X: Suitable for Chest 52-58", Robe Length 52". I'm 1x all day. I weigh 160 pounds, am 5ft 3" tall, chest 48", waist 40". and a hips of 50". After reading all the reviews on here (and making a SPECIAL NOTE to the complaints that this robe is HUGE), I ordered mine in a small/medium size. And of course I was concerned after I placed my order that I made a mistake I will in no way fit a small/medium size!I haven't worn a small/medium size in ages!and all I can say is WOW WOW WOW!Small/Medium fits me perfectly !I don't have to do anything with this robe. I don't have to hem it or shorten the sleeves. And the fact that this small/medium size actually has a zip fly (fits well with my 1x hips, chest, waist and stomach), well I just don't know what to say, I'm AMAZED! ' on this robe because it's an AWESOME piece of clothing. ce ULTRA PLUSCH (ie thick), which makes the bathrobe so cozy, warm and soft that I don't even want to take it off *laughs*. Ultra plush fleece that I need so badly since I live in the mountains at 7500ft) is that it closes right UNDER MY CHIN and keeps my NECK WARM (just like wearing a turtleneck, just not tight at all). But that doesn't mean he touches my chin or gets in the way of my chin. I would say the neck of the robe falls about 1-1/2 inches below my chin. This too is perfect. The LENGTH of the coat is just up to the top of my legs. you don't have to bend down. The sleeves only reach my knuckles. a bit long but as I sit and type here the slack is taken up and the sleeve sits very comfortably around my wrists. When I had to do the dishes in this robe, I had to roll up the cuffs. I washed and dried this robe before I put it on. on WARM and dried on GENTLE. NO SHRINKAGE. I can't say enough good things about this robe. I have just placed an order. Actually two. One for my sister and one for me to keep when it wears out. I would NEVER want to be without this robe. That's how GOOD she is. So buy them with CONFIDENCE. As long as you take the "OFF" into account. SIZING' and order accordingly, you will be satisfied with this purchase. PS Unfortunately I cannot recommend this robe to women who actually wear and wear small/medium. it will just be too big for you. This clothing, whether intentional or accidental, is designed to fit plus size women.
