I was very happy to replace the item that exploded in my oven and almost gave me a heart attack so I could cook at home again, but unfortunately that plan was foiled afterwards, as was the oven cleaned and tried to install this new item. The mounting plate was attached to the element at an angle such that the element was almost 1.5 to 2 inches from the bottom of the oven near the door. After removing the item (again) and looking at it from the side, there was no way it could sit straight. I even tried gently screwing the tabs together, but to no avail. return requested. Let's hope I'm not being charged shipping and restocking fees for something totally out of my control, otherwise I'll be contacting Revain customer service to file a complaint. UPDATE 3/3/21 Customer service was top notch. As it was a manufacturing defect, the order was returned without me having to return the product. customer service +. Thank you!
