Let's face it, people just do not respond to standard car horns anymore. I actually got this to replace a motorcycle horn (overkill, but worth it) but wanted to install on my car first to test it out (bike isn't available yet). It is VERY effective.As for ease to install, that depends on your application. There wasn't quite enough wire for my car (will be plenty for the bike), the lower grill install was a pain, and the firewall access on my car was difficult to say the least, but none of these are issues with the product. I would have liked to see some automotive grade connectors, but purchased those separately.
