Nice case. The color is a lovely chocolate brown and perfect for my Surface Pro 4. What I didn't expect was how much heavier my Surface would get once I put the case on. It's not very heavy (my 15-inch laptop is a little heavier), but now I feel like I'm carrying a flimsy bound textbook. Your pen can no longer be attached to the side, so you must use the pen holder on the case to do so. Ports and controls are still easily accessible, and you can still mount the keyboard at an angle in this case (I'm actually typing this on my Surface). You can no longer use the footboard; However, the body offers the same angular flexibility as the footrest. I would still be very careful not to drop the surface even with the case on. The top corners are still exposed, and there are no rubber bumpers on the case itself to absorb shock. If you're looking for something that looks professional, doesn't distract from your Surface, and protects your device if you accidentally trip over something, you've come to the right place. If you want a case that you can keep bumping and dropping (or that's kidproof) and don't have to worry about breaking your Surface, this might not be it. Overall I am satisfied with my purchase. I travel constantly with my Surface Pro 4 and this gives it a little more protection.
