I have dark brown hair that turns grey, especially on the parting and face. It grows so fast that professional coloring costs a fortune and coloring at home dries it out, so I decided to give it a try. This is a spiced cognac. I just did this a few hours ago: I shampooed my hair very well, towel dried it, applied it and wrapped it in cling film for 2 hours, then rinsed and sanitized. It was easy to apply and easy to wash off. The hair is not as dry as after permanent coloring. Not sure how long this will take, will try to update the review. This color is too coppery for my hair but if I were less gray I would love the highlights. I only used half the bottle. I'll try a darker color next time, but I'm wondering if I can use this shade for highlights too. I will use it again just in a darker shade. I can upgrade to 5 stars depending on how long it takes and if the color changes.
