I installed it in a replacement laptop that was running out of memory and I was able to use it to its full potential. The drive runs incredibly cool under load, never freezing at 33C. Once you get used to M.2 NVME drives always going from 60 to 90+ which reduces performance. The read speed is 500+ what you need for a traditional 2.5 inch SATA drive. Unfortunately, the write speed is a bit slower, but acceptable. Ironically, the 4k read speed (right where it should be for this type of drive) is half the write speed, which is an anomaly. If top-line read and write speeds are your goal (especially with sequential workloads), you could do so in the generally do what else is looking for. However, this drive's value for money is excellent, and unless your workflow relies on heavy sustained read and write loads, the drop in read speed won't be as noticeable.4 /5
