I bought this for my son's best friend. He has the same light in the sensory space and she wanted one. It has some pretty cool features that my son doesn't have. Both have remote controls and Bluetooth capabilities for playing music, but they have a cable that lets you connect your phone or MP3 player directly. This is very useful for kids who want to access their music in an easy way. Both shapes and colors are projected, but it has a ball mount that turns it into a simple night light. The projections can be too strong when you're trying to sleep, but the attachment turns them into a soft glow that still changes color but isn't as harsh. I also appreciate that it comes with the hardware needed to hang it on the wall.
