I am very impressed with the packaging. They make great pencil and pen bags when school starts. They're also great for holding small children's toys and keeping those tiny pieces together. The bag has texture so I'm not 100% sure how well the vinyl will stick to it. I don't have vinyl (or cutter) to try it, so don't take my word for it. My 2 year old was able to detach the cord from the zipper within an hour of opening it. However, I was able to open the pull tab and slide the cord back into the zipper to secure.
