I have had the Yakry Y25 HD installed and running on my tundra (photo with caravan) for over three months now. The windshield mount still stays in place without the need for reinstallation, even in freezing weather as well as over 90 degrees on and off road. I bought it primarily to speed up hooking up trailers and the monitor mount's easy magnetic attachment for removing and installing the monitor makes it easy to stow in the glove box until needed. However, I found the small size of the monitor unobtrusive and the convenience of being able to see where the end of the truck is while reversing is too convenient, so I just leave it on the whole time and just press the power button. Power cord if I want to see what's behind me. Night vision is fine, but it definitely needs backup lights or truck brake lights to help. Bought a Yakry camera for the back of my son's work trailer. The license plate was off center and not that good for a Y25 style camera mount so I bought a Y24. It has the best 1024p resolution, but the Y25 was good enough for my needs and I liked the convenience of mounting it behind the license plate. He already had a reversing camera on his SUV, but no camera on the trailer. I chose the Y24 because its trailer label was very low and shifted all the way to the left, so it wouldn't be a good position, but the Y25 was small, had a basic corner mount, and as an added bonus, better resolution. His trailer has running lights at top dead center that make it easier to hook up a camera. It's almost invisible there, but offers a great view of what's behind the trailer. He uses a mount on his dashboard instead of a windshield and it stays in place. To date we are both very happy with our rear view cameras.
