A friend at work gave it to me and I knew what the next addition to my sewing kit would be. They are very helpful for holding seams together on thin (clothing weight) leather while I machine sew. I was familiar with the larger clips (I love them too) but these mini clips allow for more precise seam adjustment and I can get the piece closer to the presser foot of my sewing machine. before I have to remove the clamp. Don't worry about the nightmare of leather cord accidentally being in the wrong place and snagging on a sewing machine needle when I can avoid using leather cord altogether! Hooray, little brackets!
