They took a little longer to master than the previous ones Merrill bought. There is also a small scratch on the upper after the first day of wear, which is a bit disappointing. But this is a minus. The positives: (1) They are REALLY waterproof and pretty amazing. I went down a torrential trail and ran through some deep puddles and my feet were completely dry. (2) I ride 3 miles a day (1.5m one way) to work in these boots. After a few weeks they are holding up great and are getting better and better. Highly recommended.
