I needed hard drives to distribute video to multiple people so capacity wasn't important - 1GB would be enough but at $3 each it was a great price. Some reviews complained about the slow write speeds, but I didn't care since I only put one file per drive. I don't know how well they will hold up under prolonged heavy use as they seem pretty cheap but for my purpose they fit perfectly. Writing one file at a time, they didn't seem particularly slow, but perhaps not as fast as the more expensive drives. When I tested them, the reading speed seemed normal. I think they are worth the money; Just don't expect them to last for years if you use them every day. They are ideal as a promotional gift or distribution medium.
