Very thin thin metal. The range isn't very good for jewelry as some of the edges are sharp. Some designs only have 1 so cannot be used on earrings, others have 2 or 3. They can be used to decorate scrapbooks or dolls. Don't expect to get what is shown in the picture. They say the items are random, I was just hoping to get at least a few of the items that attracted me in the photo but no luck. Didn't get fans or feathers.
