Review on KC HiLiTES 7" Round 60/55w H4 DOT Headlight - Set of 2: Perfect Lighting Solution by Alvis Minchenko

Despite the mixed reviews I've read here about the brightness of these non-LED headlights, I decided to give them a try knowing I could return them for a refund if my expectations were exceeded would not be fulfilled. I liked the fact that the bulbs could be changed without having to replace the entire headlight, they were very easy to install and MUCH brighter than the stock headlights that came with my 2003 Jeep Wrangler. They also generate heat during operation, so the headlights do not ice up in bad weather (LED lamps do not generate heat and tend to ice up). With the right direction, the low beam provides wide coverage and won't dazzle or irritate oncoming traffic, while the high beam really illuminates the road and lets you see several hundred yards ahead. They're not as bright as some of the LED solutions you'll find, but I find them good enough for city driving with and without streetlights. In the end, my expectations were fully met and I recommend them to anyone looking for brighter headlights. for your jeep without going the way of LEDs.
