I bought these as a Christmas present for my boyfriend, he is wide and 1.82m tall. (no particular big/large sizes) so I figured they were big enough. I took the risk and bought them online. The quality of these pants is very durable, well constructed and comfortable looking. However they were too small for her. I was very sad but they just weren't big enough and hips wide enough to fit them. So with that information, I suggest that this particular pair of pants made from this fabric runs a size down if you have hips. If the wearer of these trousers has slim legs and hips, the cut fits perfectly. I had a good experience buying these pants despite the sizing issues. I tried to return the item but they wouldn't return it! (I would change them if they had an xx size!) I got a full refund and ended up giving the pants to my brother who is slightly smaller and slimmer. I would recommend them to people of average height. Have fun shopping!
