Vaulted ceilings? Read this review.

If you have vaulted/sloped ceilings, read on. I've researched this fan for a while but haven't read anywhere that corner ceilings are a problem. I wanted a fan that not everyone has. After an electrician was there to install it, the instructions inside say the ceiling can't exceed 25 degrees. My blankets are angled over 25 degrees so I was devastated that I might have to return them! I rushed to Lowe to find a solution. Lowe told me they have a "corner adapter" but it is a Harbor Breeze brand and the fan must be the same brand. They suggested I just buy a Harbor Breeze fan since the electrician was waiting for me. I called Craftmaid's tech department but they didn't help! They said the adapter is available but I need to find a retailer to buy it. They also didn't know if the Harbor Breeze brand would work and of course forced me to order them again. I took a chance and bought the 45 degree Harbor Breeze Angle Adapter for $9.98 and it worked! The fan works great and it took an electrician about an hour to assemble and install it after I received the part. I didn't need a longer lower stem and that was good. The fan is very quiet and looks great. After a small adjustment with weights (which come with the fan) there is no wobble and it stays tight. It also has a remote control and a very professional light switch that I will show pictures of. I was concerned I would have to return it due to the slope of my ceiling but so glad it worked! Oh, and I've read that some people don't like the "disco" light it throws on the ceiling. We think it's interesting and don't mind at all, but check out the pictures to see if you can live with it. Much luck!
