Review on 🍹 Fletchers' Mill Muddler - 11 Inch Solid Wood Cocktail Muddler - Ideal Bartender Tool for Old Fashioned and Mojitos by Brent Peterson

I wanted to like this pestle but it cracked seriously about 2 hours after first use. I sent it back and ordered another one and the same thing happened. Both madlers arrived in great condition and looked and felt really good, but if they split it's a big disadvantage, especially since you can't really wash them. I had no problems with the return but wanted to warn buyers and manufacturers. I replaced it with a large black plastic pestle on the top shelf which is great but about double the price. I think the instructions should personally say in oil, or better yet, the muta should come pre-oiled. I didn't pre-oil it because it was brand new and the instructions didn't say to oil it before use. I think in its current form, complexity that tears and cannot be sanitized is a recipe for pollution.
