Having fed ONLY Science Diet Senior Active Longevity to my cats for over 30 years, they absolutely hate the formula changes. I can't believe Hill's took quality cat food for so many years and screwed it up so bad! My cats are actually losing weight and some of their behavior has even changed with the declining quality of the science. Diet. And not only have Science Diet changed their formula (in an attempt to 'rebrand' the look of the pack), they've also increased the price of this obviously inferior product! I've since switched my cats to the Blue Buffalo brand, and so far so good. I hope that this switch to better food - along with the costly veterinary care - will help them get well again. As a mom cat, I struggle with the guilt of not understanding the cause of her behavior changes and declining health sooner, but now I do my best to ensure her well-being. I strongly advise other cat lovers to stay away from this unfortunate feline. - a quality justification for cat food and other healthier options. IAMs is another brand that comes highly recommended as a useful option to be my backup when the Blue Buffalo brand doesn't work. Hill's Science Diet has lost my trust and respect and I will never use their products again as clearly the health and well being of cats is no longer a priority.
